A long-standing kite and wing foil launch at the south end of Pinellas County, with a huge shallow sandbar system that keeps the water flat and forgiving across a wide range of wind directions. Good for a beginner's first flat-water sessions, while still holding interest for experienced riders on a bigger wind day. Watch for shells and oyster beds on the bottom (wear booties), muddy footing at low tide, fire ants near the rigging area, mangroves downwind of the launch, and paid parking with active ranger enforcement.
