Langlois, OR — Southern Oregon Coast

A flat-water alternative to the Gorge — strong, steady summer thermals over completely protected lake water make this one of the more forgiving strong-wind spots on the West Coast. Launch is from the lake itself (freshwater), not the ocean beach on the dune side — the pin marks the east-side boat ramp / launch area. Floras Lake Windsports, run by the Brady family since 1990, teaches windsurfing, kiteboarding, and wing foiling here — from beginner wing handling on a SUP through hydrofoil riding, taught by Reed and Josh Brady.
