Cumbuco, Brazil — Ceará
One of Brazil's biggest kite destinations and an easy first stop right after flying into Fortaleza, but primarily a kite beach — roughly 10 kiters per winger observed, so winging is secondary here. Food is excellent and cheaper than Cabarete; young, international, very social kite-traveler crowd. Worth visiting as an easy first stop, but a winger chasing open-ocean swell and waves will find more interesting riding elsewhere on this coast.
